FEG’s Joe Clark interviews Caitlin Evans and Nathaniel Iman about More Than Conquerors of Pendleton, Indiana. This is a free after school faith-based program for fourth through eighth-graders. The program provides kids with game-time, free snacks donated by the community, faith-based lessons, and homework time, from 2:30 PM to 6 PM, five days a week. Caitlyn founded the program with two other women who all grew up in the Pendleton area. They worked for a similar program that dissolved, but they said: “we’re not done helping this community.” Opportunities to volunteer, donate, and mentor are available.
