FEG’s Joe Clark interviews Pam Shoot and Carrie Bale about the Leadership Academy of Madison County. Formed in 1981 by the Chamber, the city of Anderson, and Anderson University in response to a changing community. Their goal is to connect servant leaders to build better communities not just within Madison County, but wherever those leaders may go. Their three main programs cater to juniors and seniors in high school and to adults in the work force. If committing to any of these programs is not an option, there are also isolated trainings and conferences that are provided by the Academy as well.
